How I'm Embracing Growth, Purpose and Faith in My Year of Full Bloom

On March 7th 2026, as I entered the final year of my thirties and looked ahead to a new decade, I made a decision: my 39th year would be the Year of Full Bloom.

What did that mean?

It meant allowing myself to be led in the right direction, embracing the things that elevate me and propel me forward, not necessarily towards my own expectations, but towards the will of God.

Yes, it also means doing things that bring me personal joy: taking ballet lessons, enjoying good food in beautiful places, travelling solo, monetising my God-given talents, and so much more. But ultimately, the Year of Full Bloom is about discovering my full potential and having the courage to release it.

It doesn’t mean achieving everything in a single year. It means cultivating a sense of accomplishment, growing into new levels of purpose, and reaching new heights mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Last week was a great example of that.

Work was busy, but in the midst of it all, I received all of my Vinted orders in preparation for my book photoshoot.

Oh, did I mention that I wrote a book and it’s being published this month?

I’d say that’s blooming already.

Then Saturday arrived. In 30-degree heat, I stood in a field getting the perfect shot for the press release and website. It was hot, exhausting, and completely worth it.

Afterwards, I headed to Ballet Black, courtesy of my wonderful friend.

I sat in awe as I watched each ballerina tell a story through movement alone. The grace, strength, and fluidity of their performance moved me so deeply that I was brought to tears.

I finished the weekend with a run in the heat and a scenic walk, taking in the beauty around me. And honestly, that feels like what Full Bloom is all about: embracing growth, celebrating milestones, making space for joy, and becoming everything God created me to be, one step at a time.
