✨ Melissa’s Wardrobe: The Drop We’ve Been Subconsciously Waiting For: LE LUXE.

After years of shaping the culture from behind the scenes, Melissa is about to drop her very own line of what, we're not sure. On her Stories she revealed that her brand, Le Luxe, has been three years in the making and is finally making its debut in the next few days. The countdown is officially on. Originally our heart jumped to a fashion line but after seeing the posts from Le Luxe in the last 24 hours, I think we got it wrong!!! However, this makes it all that more exciting...

Anyone who’s been following Melissa knows she didn’t get here by accident. Her reputation was built on honest reviews, impeccable taste, and an unapologetic confidence that makes her stand out in a crowded space. She’s that girl who shows up online and gives us the real; from sharing her most vulnerable chapters as a new mum, to the everyday snacks we’re now obsessed with, to the beauty products that live permanently in our shopping baskets, to the Bottega pieces we drool over (most of us from afar).

So for Melissa to now bring her vision, style and quality sensibilities into material and construction feels like a natural next chapter. She’s no longer just curating, she’s creating. And she’s creating with intention. Melissa has not let on what this drop is and although a few of us are still wishing wishing for a Mellissa wardrobe clothing collection, whatever it is, it will be perfection.

That sentence alone has me on the edge of my seat. What exactly will it be, what will it look like? How will it feel? What will it cost? Melissa and quality go hand-in-hand, and quality always costs money, so boys and girls, get your coins lined up. When you see something you like, buy immediately, because we already know it’s going to sell out fast. Melissa has proven time and time again that authenticity + consistency = trust. We haven’t even laid eyes on these pieces yet, but because of her track record, we believe her when she calls them “category disruptors.” This isn’t a vanity project. This is Melissa doing what she’s been preparing for all along.


It’s also bigger than fashion, beauty, or any industry category. Melissa has become a blueprint for so many of us, especially Black women, who see in her a mirror of possibility. She’s a walking case study in staying true to your vision, building community, and letting faith anchor your journey. She’s been a brand long before Le Luxe, and it’s about time more business owners studied the Melissa model.
